Civil Air Patrol
Orange County Squadron (NY-030)

This is the home site for the Orange County Cadet Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol. We are at the center of CAP's Catskill Mountain Group, based at Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, NY. We hold meetings every Tuesday night from 1830-2030 at the 105th HQ Building. Our unit shares a Cessna 172 with the other 4 Squadrons in CMG at Orange County Airport, located in Montgomery, NY, here in Orange County.

We pride ourselves on our motivation, professionalism, and a leadership program second to none. Our goal is to not only maintain our status as the best squadron in Catskill Mountain Group, but to be the best in all of NY Wing and fulfilling CAP's purpose of producing high speed leaders for America.

The Cadet Oath:
I pledge that I will serve faithfully in the Civil Air Patrol cadet program, and that I will attend meetings regularly, participate actively in unit activities, obey my officers, wear my uniform properly, and advance my education and training rapidly to prepare myself to be of service to my community, state and nation.
