Must be at least a senior grade NCO. CC will be held by the cadet with the most leadership experience and models the cadet oath to the best of their ability. CC is the only cadet position directly chosen by the senior staff and all cadets wishing to become cadet commander will submit a letter of intent to the senior staff upon their request for them.
CC must:
-form a functioning and capable staff using good judgment
-have a plan of action for their time in command (i.e., set goals for the squadron as well as yourself)
Weekly duties include:
-oversee meeting and staff
-carry out senior member's orders on training
Other duties include:
-make adjustments necessary to the Sqdn SOPs
-make sure continuity files are kept
-train, mentor, and evaluate staff members
Executive Staff
Operations
NCO grade cadet appointed by CC and approved by Senior Staff. Responsible for overseeing squadron operations, both weekly meetings and outside activites.
Weekly duties include:
-developing and posting OPORDs for meetings and activities
-overseeing the execution of the OPORD
Other duties include:
-maintaining and adjusting the Sqdn OPLAN
-coordinating materials needed for activities
-manage Ops staff
Logistics
NCO grade cadet appointed by CC and approved by Senior Staff. Responsible for overseeing squadron equipment, funds, and personnel on the cadet staff.
Weekly duties include:
-collecting attendance
-dispensing equipment
Other duties include:
-maintaining check list of Sqdn property
-managing LOG staff
